2023: A Banner Year for Defencify

2023 has been a busy year for us here at Defencify. The private security guard industry is constantly growing, evolving, and facing new challenges. And so are we. In our efforts to keep up with the pace of change we launched several programs and initiatives aimed at helping Defencify clients stay on top of key issues driving our industry: turnover, training, and compliance. Here are a few highlights of our accomplishments in 2023:

  • Defencify LMS and TrackTik Integration. TrackTik is one of the leading guard force management and scheduling platforms. It helps administrators automate routine tasks, view guard activity, track hours and pay, and much more to optimize workforce utilization. With the addition of Defencify LMS integration, TrackTik administrators can monitor license expirations/renewals, notify employees by email of new training assignments, track their progress, and have total visibility into each guard's compliance status and qualifications for assignment without logging into multiple databases.

For example, the integration enables the TrackTik admin to access Defencify LMS data to instantly generate a list of guards eligible for assignment at a particular location where specialized training is required, speeding scheduling while guaranteeing compliance.

  • Security Guard Training with Virtual Reality (VR). This partnership with Dealplay is set to revolutionize the way guards are trained. Combining Defencify's expertise in eLearning and professional security management with Dealplay's innovative VR technology will maximize student engagement through interactive training experiences.

By leveraging the power of VR technology using headsets and haptic firearms, trainees are fully immersed in realistic guarding scenarios, allowing them to practice situational awareness, decision-making skills, and crisis response techniques to develop critical skills in a safe and controlled environment. Look for VR modules covering topics such as use of force, crisis intervention, emergency response, and de-escalation procedures.

  • Defencify Forms Library. Here you'll find a trove of helpful documents for Security company owners and managers, ready for download. Register with us for access to free employee applications, performance evaluation forms, checklists, and assorted worksheets to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

So yeah, 2023 was a banner year for Defencify – and we didn't even mention our growing list of state-approved, self-paced online courseware titles for unarmed security officer certification and license renewal, or the number of new private contract security firms that joined the Defencify family. We thank you for the trust you have placed in us to educate your workforce.

As we turn the calendar to 2024, we look forward to continuing to serve your security officer online training and compliance needs with solutions that enhance your firm's productivity and employee performance.
